Leakit Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use govern your use of Leakit ("Leakit", "the app"). By downloading, opening, or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. When Leakit is downloaded from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies in addition to the terms below.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that age is higher, to use Leakit. Some cases deal with mature themes such as crime, deception, and relationships. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Leakit only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use Leakit on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial entertainment, in line with these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

3. Fictional Content

Leakit is a work of fiction. The phones, people, messages, emails, photos, companies, and events in every case are invented for entertainment. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to real events is coincidental. Brand-styled screens inside the game imitate familiar app layouts for storytelling only and do not mean that those brands endorse or are affiliated with Leakit.

Leakit does not access, read, or change the real messages, contacts, photos, or accounts on your device, and it is not a tool for accessing anyone else's phone or data.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not:

copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the app's code or case content, except where the law expressly allows it;
republish, sell, or distribute case content, solutions, or artwork from the app for commercial purposes;
use cheats, bots, or modified versions of the app, or interfere with ads, purchases, or security features;
use the app for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, stalk, or monitor another person;
attempt to disrupt the app, its servers, or other users.

5. Intellectual Property

The app, including its cases, stories, characters, text, graphics, user interface, and code, is owned by or licensed to the publisher and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the licence granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

Leakit is free to download and may offer optional in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium cases, hints, or remove ads. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings or in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Use Restore Purchases in the app to restore purchases on a new device.

7. Advertising

Leakit displays ads provided by third-party advertising networks. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for the websites and products they link to. How ad data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Your Data and Deleting It

Leakit does not require an account. Your language and case progress are stored on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. To request deletion of data held by us or our service providers, email the address below. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services, including app stores, payment processing, analytics, crash reporting, and advertising. Those services are subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to Leakit if you breach these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will survive.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Leakit is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every case will remain available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to use Leakit after an update means you accept the revised terms.
